Gwyneth Paltrow is opening up about a heartbreaking time in her life.

In a candid interview with the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine today (March 17), the 40-year-old actress reveals that she experienced a miscarriage while pregnant with her third child.

Paltrow, who has two children -- daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6, -- with husband Chris Martin, confesses that she "nearly died" after losing the baby.

"My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I’m thinking about it," Paltrow explains, continuing, "But I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?'"

One thing is for certain -- new parents and Paltrow's pals Jay-Z and Beyonce have made her reconsider getting pregnant again. "Their baby Blue Ivy is totally delish," she gushes. "She’s made me very broody."

The "Iron Man 3" star has been honest about adding to her brood, recently confessing that she thought about having another child when her son Moses was younger.

"My brain says, 'Oh, I think I'm done, the kids are so big now, and I don't want to go back to changing diapers,'" she told the October issue of InStyle magazine. "But a part of me would love to have another. Of course, I'm old now!"

Still, no matter what Paltrow decides in the baby department, she knows she chose the best man to raise a family with.

"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father," she tells You magazine of Coldplay frontman Martin, 36. "He is so good to the children, and to know that you had kids with such a good man is like a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and we lean on each other for support as well."

Parents Record Child Abuse With iPod At Day Care Center In Argentina

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Argentine authorities are probing a day-care scandal after parents put an iPod in their daughter's backpack to record what happened at the center.

What they found was shocking. The recording caught teachers shouting, swearing and repeatedly mistreating children who became so upset that they vomited.

At one point, a teacher threatens to take a child to the bathroom sink if the child doesn't stop crying. The teacher shouts, "Do you want to go to sink?! OK then, shut up! Shut up!"

Parents said Tuesday that may explain why their children suddenly were afraid of taking baths.

The newspaper La Nacion reported that inspectors found the "Tribilin" day-care center was ordered closed as an educational establishment in 1996, but kept operating for 17 years despite being registered only as a private "party house."

'Final Cut': Former Child Star Mark Everett (Manuel Benitez) Killed His Girlfriend, Fled With Their Young Son

Manuel Benitez went by the stage name Mark Everett when he was a successful child actor. He starred in several TV shows, commercials and movies, including "Stand and Deliver." "Final Cut" told the story of his dark journey after stardom.

In the 1990s, Benitez had a 3-year-old son with his girlfriend. When she told him she wanted to break up with him, he allegedly beat her to death in front of their child, and then went on the run with the boy.

He successfully stayed on the run for four years, and even made the FBI's wanted list. Inevitably, the authorities caught up with him.

"As soon as he opened the door, that’s when they felt they had no choice but to fire," an investigator said. Benitez had taken his son hostage during that final confrontation. His son was shot in the leg, but survived. Benitez died from multiple gunshots.
