Anyone experienced in proceeding with cross border legal action against slander/liable on DP?

I reported it for thread hijacking originally but nothing happened.

I didn't receive any infractions when I had my premium account, most likely coincidence or perhaps a higher level of care and attention when posting. I just didn't use it for a while so I stopped paying for it. I expressed my reasons why I haven't started paying for it again in the feedback section of the forum.

You requested your refund based on the number of hours. I issued a refund. If you felt the amount was in error you should have said so, then I could have rectified it. Saying nothing about it at all, seeing me online obviously not blocking any communication from you, but instead poaching my threads, on a completely unrelated topic.

I logged the time I spent, the time my server administrator and my programmer spent preparing information for you on your wikilinks clone site and the google translator project, the skype conversations, the voice calls, the payments you sent, the amounts you agreed to, and the math said I didn't owe you any refund, but I sent one anyways. If you have further dispute of your closed account, then this is not the place to discuss it.

The fact is you asked me to do work for you which I was not advertising or attempting to procure. That is not what I do, I work on my own sites and joint venture partnership projects. Occasionally I subcontract work to people I know and work with because I'm the person in our group with the most sales and marketing experience, making me basically an affiliate.

Posting a thread offering partnerships and joint ventures where different people cover costs for different business expenses is in no way an indication of being short on cash, but rather smart with it. Have you ever heard of the term broker? Yeah, it's not a huge stretch to read my signature and deduce that I might be involved in brokering website sales and acquisitions.

Put through your refund request properly and get rid of your posts and attitude and I will process your refund, AGAIN. Then stay out of my threads and I won't offer to help you in any of yours ever again.

Has anyone any experience with using module mod_bookmarkus?

Ahh, that's different than my definition of a crash. A crash (to me) would be a blank white screen where nothing shows up at all.

If the page is drawing at all then there is a problem in the HTML somewhere. Usually when things show up in the wrong place on a page it is because someone did not close an HTML tag properly. In most cases that is caused by pasting text from a word processing program into a text box in the module or on the page somewhere.

If it only happens when you publish the module then look at the text being displayed in the module and see if it looks correct. If it isn't then go into the backend and edit that text. View it in HTML view and make sure there are no open without an accompaning to close it out.

Has anyone heard of Empower Network

Empower Network is two different things: 1) a MLM meets Article website, and 2) MLM marketing "training", either "Inner Circle" or "Mastermind".

Almost all the articles on Empower is about "income opportunity", and most of them are downright shady. You can still find some authors promoting / reviewing something that had been outlawed in the US back in 2010. They call it "viral blogging". I call it "lousily written marketing articles".

You pay them $25 a month to blog. You then recruit people (i.e. get them to use the blogging system at $25 a month). You then pass up the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and every 5th thereafter sales to your "upline" (i.e. whoever sponsored you). If your downline recruits, they'll do the same for you (pass up a few sales proceeds to you).

The Inner Circle training is $100 a month, and "Master Mind" course is $500, where you watch a bunch of "trainers" allegedly teaching MLM techniques and whatnot, where the owner of Empowered show off his Costa Rica home.

This is known as the n-up comp model, and it *sounds* good but really isn't as it makes it heavily recruit-dependent.

You can make "big money" if you recruit a LOT of people and get them to buy their courses and pay $25 to blog... and get others to do the same.

IMHO, it's quite scummy.

Making A Torrent Site. Anyone Willing To Help?

Ok, first you have four posts. Second, you want to create a torrent site with no knowledge about anything, except what you've only read from Torrent Freak. This screams NO.

You will hit a disaster very soon after trying to release a new site like this with no knowledge. Hypercube is dead and Gottfried in prison, OpenTracker old, Gazelle is What.cd's old code and useless, TBDev is dead and will never come back and very outdated against PHP, blah blah.

You have to be willing an able to code daily, spend a shit ton of money daily, and then in the end understand it all, and why you are doing it for legal reasons with a back of lawyers who support this.

Not to mention private servers as far away from the law as possible, and nothing operating under .com, .net, etc., anything USA owned by VeriSign.
