Shortly, most of the web space will get better as user experience thanks to the better competition, which is lacking now.Longer....
Also, in regard of search results, these will get better as the other search engines are currently not in a position where they can manipulate their results in order to spam with ads, along with the so called quality results (empty pages and expired domains) as google does.I do not see it disappearing soon, but it is up to the visitors after all, not webmasters...we will survive way away after them and without them.
I believe Adsense is the first one to die. More and more people are becoming ad-blind and if I wasn't so lazy I would have removed these from my sites already...

It has been observed that 8 out of 10 visitors to an e-commerce site never complete a purchase. With the technique of retargeting consumer’s behavior, marketers can recover their lost prospects. On the basis of the previous searches made by consumers on a company’s website, marketers can easily retarget their ads on other websites to appeal to those specific consumers preferences or products that the consumers have browsed, but not purchased.
Google shopping is a great service that allows the users to search for various online sites and compare the prices for the product they want to purchase.
As Google is introducing various developments, there are the strong chances of Google Service will soon become entirely a paid model? When this change will occur, the marketers would have to pay the company for listing their products.

Although, with the updates like panda and penguin, Google will pay more emphasis on the thing that these links occurred naturally or have been manipulated. However, it may evenly reduce its dependency on anchor text as far as it has slightest effect.
Guest blogging is simply defined as writing a post for a blog other than the one you manage. Susan Crawford Explains Why U.S. Internet Is Still Slow (VIDEO)
Susan Crawford, law professor and former special assistant for science and technology to the White House, recently sat down with journalist and commentator Bill Moyers and explained something that might surprise confortable Americans: U.S. Internet access is, even today, costly and slow compared to access in other parts of the world.
How so? Crawford lays out the numbers: In Hong Kong, Crawford says, a citizen can purchase 500 megabit data pipeline for $25 a month. In Seoul, the same service is $30 a month, but subscribers have a choice of three different providers, all of whom will set up a connection within a day because of cutthroat competition.
But in New York City, arguably the most industrialized city in the U.S., the same connection costs $200, and subscribers have no choice of providers.
This is a video worth watching:
Susan Crawford on Why U.S. Internet Access is Slow, Costly, and Unfair from BillMoyers.com on Vimeo.
Crawford names the usual culprits: telecommunications companies, whose local monopolies encourage them, she says, to "gouge" the rich and neglect the poor, and the U.S. government, which she says refuses to consider the Internet a utility or promote competition between current carriers. In November, HuffPost reported that AT&T had failed to provide high-speed Internet to rural Americans after assuring Congress it would do so.
The U.S. government has lots of catching up to do: The Federal Communication Commission's 2011 "Connect 2 Compete" program, which was supposed to give Internet access to low-income citizens, only operates on a small scale, while the recent "Super WiFi" rumors proved a massive flop. Existing telecommunications players have little reason to change because, as Crawford says, they're for-profit businesses whose motive is to make money in the most efficient way possible.
Change within the telecommunications industry may come from an unlikely source: other corporations. Google’s Fiber project, an experimental broadband network that delivers speedy, inexpensive Internet to chosen communities, has forced Time Warner Cable to increase speeds and lower prices. Similar projects might help spark change among telecommunications monopolies across the country.

How to Continuously Monitor your Internet Connection
If your Internet connection has been flaky, you can use the popular ping command (available on all computers) to continuously monitor your connection.
The internet connection has been flaky for the past few days. It works fine for 10-15 minutes, breaks for about a minute and the connection is then automatically restored. This erratic on/off cycle repeats itself throughout the day.
It is most likely an ISP issue as the modem, the router, the DNS server, and the network connections seem perfect. Even power cycling the hardware failed to fix the problem.
While the ISP resolves the issue, I have to continuously monitor the Internet connection as certain actions – like submitting web forms – would fail if initiated while the computer is offline. Luckily, there isn’t a need to download another utility as the included ping command can itself help monitor the downtime.
Go to Start -> Run and type “ping -t 8.8.8.8? without the quotes. The “-t” switch is important as it means that the ping command will run forever unless stopped manually by hitting Ctrl + C. (8.8.8.8 is Google’s DNS Server)
The output of the ping command, as illustrated in the above screenshot, shows the live status of your Internet connection. If the status reads as “reply from 8.8.8.8,” the machine is online and in all other cases, the Internet connection is down.

5 Benefits Of Joining An Internet Marketing Forum
By now, you probably must have heard about or know what an internet marketing forum is. Yes, there are plenty of them and they usually keep popping up in search results every time you are searching for questions related to blogging and online marketing! Isn’t it? But the question is – why should you join a forum and how can will it benefit you as a blogger? My post aims at explaining all these major benefits in detail…
No one is born as an internet marketing ninja, right? Those who are an expert in this field today have gone through years of perspicacious efforts and dedication.
Internet Marketing forums is definitely a great place to consummate your current niche related knowledge as you get an awesome opportunity to learn and share your ideas with other like minded people in the industry.
Most of the popular internet marketing forums enjoy high authority, credibility and obviously a decent amount of traffic. So, while posting a reply, if you believe that your link is going to add some true value to the thread, then please do it! By doing this, you are not only creating a quality backlink for your website, but at the same time, you are also attracting a highly targeted stream of visitors to your website. That’s the best form of traffic that you can ever had for your blog – it converts and it engages!
Most of the IM (abbreviated for Internet Marketing) forums allow their users to link to their social media profiles. And the good thing is, these social profiles are often displayed beneath the user’s avatar whenever a new reply or a thread is posted. A great reply or a thread is more likely to attract people to follow your social media profiles, thereby giving your social network a real boost! Again, I would like to point out that these are targeted fans/followers – the best type of fan-base that you can ever had for building a great social network.
Whenever you are in any kind of trouble, just start a new thread under an appropriate sub-section and the entire community would be there to help you out! Isn’t that awesome ?
Whenever there is an algorithm change, a new penalty, Google PageRank update, OR anything that can possibly affect the normal lifestyle of a typical webmaster, these forums get updated with tons of new threads very quickly! So if you are as active on these forums, as you are on Twitter or Facebook, then you won’t be missing out any important update that might probably affect your website tomorrow in a positive or a negative way!
There isn’t any dearth of forums on the internet. You will find plenty but quite aboveboard, i would agree that it’s impossible to have an active profile on all of them! If you would like to have my advice, i would recommend you to stick to just 1 or 2 forums of your own choice. Personally, i’m having an active profile on Warrior-forum & V7n forums – both of which have an active and a helpful internet marketing community. If you follow Ms. Ileane you know that she often talks about Lisa Irby’s Website Babble forum.
There’s always a code of conduct for everything, and forums are absolutely not an exception. If you would like to enjoy all those aforementioned benefits permanently, then please do stick to the following important etiquettes:
Read All The Guidelines – Before you start using the forums, make sure that you have acquainted yourself with all the important rules and guidelinesNever Spam – Having your signature link is OK, but posting irrelevant or affiliate links in posts can invite a banNever Abuse – Forum moderators have zero tolerance to profanityStay Focused – Starting irrelevant threads (like tips on dating, photography, blah blah blah…) can very easily get you bannedFinally, I would love to listen to you. What’s your experience with IM forums? Do you find them useful? And if you are a forum member, are you using it to your advantage the right way?

FCC Clears The Way For In-Flight Internet Deployment In The U.S.
By Jim Wolf
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has cleared the way for wider adoption of in-flight Internet services, aiming to cut by as much as 50 percent the time needed for regulatory approval.
Newly adopted rules should boost competition in this part of the U.S. mobile telecommunications market and promote "the widespread availability of Internet access to aircraft passengers," the FCC said in a statement Friday.
Since 2001, the commission has cleared companies on an ad hoc basis to market in-flight broadband services via a satellite antenna fixed to an aircraft's exterior.
Under a newly adopted framework, the licensing procedures will be simpler, the commission said.
Airlines will be able to test systems that meet the commission's standards, establish that they do not interfere with aircraft systems and then get approval of the Federal Aviation Administration, the FCC statement said.
The FAA, a Labor Department arm responsible for operating the nation's air traffic control system, said in response that the FCC's effort to establish standards "will help to streamline the process" for airlines to install Internet hookups on planes.
The goal is to speed the processing of applications by up to 50 percent, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said in a separate statement.
The FCC drive to promote broadband aboard planes does not change a ban on the in-flight use of cell phones, which is tied to concerns about interference with ground stations.
Genachowski earlier this month urged the Federal Aviation Administration to allow more electronics on aircraft.
The FAA announced in August that it was forming a government-industry group to study aircraft operators' policies to determine when portable electronic devices may be used safely during flight.

Essential tools for successful internet marketing
Online Marketing
Published by Will Skinner, 18 April 2012
2 join the discussion!Share: share:Below you will find the top 3 essential tools for a successful Internet marketing business. It is very important to keep things simple when it comes to online marketing. Information about tax is the main cause of failure as and internet marketer. So I kept things simple and ben show you the 3 key tools you need to get started online marketing.
Create your own Website
Your own website is the basic instrument that is essential for your successful Internet marketing business. If you want to get a good start in this field, you must create an impressive, credible and professional looking website. You must be a site that will meet the requirements of all your visitors which in turn the prospects for conversions on your site. A user-friendly site encourages the user to visit the links to the products and services offered on your site. A user pays you back for good information by logging on to your list or buy something of your website.
An important point to note is that a majority of these visitors come to your site not to buy anything online. The reason people use the internet to find certain information or they can be looking for entertainment. So all you have to do is just fill your website with good quality information as well as give it an entertainment aspect. When a user gives you something to interact with as being an article, a video, a poll, ect ... will be more than 45% of those users an action on your site. This action may be a sale or an opt-in, what you're looking to achieve on your site. So make sure your website gives value to each visitor that it cooperates with.
Giving incentives to your visitors
Today the competition is very tough under sellers on the internet. If you want to get the most of your target group, you should always keep an eye on your competitor. You should use every possible technique to your users visit your site regularly. You must also stride to make it easier for your visitors to click on the links and take a look at the products and services you offer. Create an opt-in email list is a good method for perspective. You must have an auto-responder series offer to your users, and they offer attractive incentives and value. This is the ideal way to get them to subscribe to your newsletters or to convince mini-course. Offering free software or e-books to attract users to your website is always a good idea.
Link Popularity
If you want to run a successful website than you must not forget the fact that your success is hidden in generating more traffic to your website. Traffic is necessary to create a good income online. To achieve this goal, your website must be evaluated high in search engines and are authorized in your niche. The more links you have pointing back to your website, the better. Make sure that you get link back to your site from popular authoritative sites in your niche. Link popularity is an important factor that is used to determine search engine ranking and PageRank. To get high rankings, you should try to improve your link popularity. Link popularity means just how popular is your website link. For example is tinyurl.com a very popular website link. Try to make a website name that short, interesting, easy-to-remember name that is related to your company to choose. This will help increase your link popularity and the brand of the name of your site on the internet. Get known in the internet can be daunting, so the more people see your link the more you will be seen in your niche.
Conclusion
Above are the three fundamental tools for you to become a successful internet marketing business. I loved this fundamental to keep things simple. There are many other methods and tricks that can be used for maximizing your income as an internet marketer, but these are the basic instruments. Create your own website. Your website should be easy to use and informative. It must deliver what people are looking for. Try to attract people by offering them free incentives. Try different methods to increase your link popularity to reach a high ranking in the search engines. Use a simple, easy and interesting name for your website. Long and difficult names are hard to remember, so try to avoid them. Stick to small groups within your niche to the influence of small pockets of traffic. Some people try and really well within their niche, but the key is to keep focused and results will show.
