what do you think about .info EMDs?

It is doubtful it is worth $5k

My reasoning being that it is likely you could find an EMD freely available which would have just as much chance...

dot com can be beaten it is only in peoples minds "dot com" as that will be most likely remembered, but when it comes to actual results if that is what is required and what matters, from actual searches, it matters not one dot which ext it is as long as you stay away from those a little more restricted by country connotations.

It is possible say to find .co or .me or .tv all of which have equal chance as a dot com in actual search results.

People will say ah but dot com is better, and yes we know this as it is the most likely to think of but again I say if it's just for search it matters not in some cases.

I hope that helps you...

10 Things Men Hate About Women

Here is our list of 10 annoying female habits. Feel free to add to the list!

1. Empty Fuel Tank: This is one thing that most women specialize in. No matter how many times you tell her to keep an eye on the fuel tank meter while driving, she will find it impossible to locate it leaving the fuel tank empty for you to drive the next day.

2. Saying ‘I’m fine’ when they are not: So she stood in front of the television while the football match was on, you got annoyed and now all sorts of issues have been bought up. Then she says it – that passive-aggressive statement that marks the start of the dreaded silent treatment: “I’m fine”. Ladies, if you’re unhappy just outline the problem and then we can sort it out and carry on as normal.

3. Constantly asking what you are thinking: They take your silence and the faraway look in your eye to assume you are in the midst of some romantic revelry when in fact, your mind has wandered to that difficult level on Halo 2. This means you have to think of something suitably appropriate before it becomes obvious you were committing the cardinal sin of not thinking about her. Asking what we’re thinking is basically a nice way of saying ‘you aren’t allowed to have private thoughts, unless they’re about me’.

4. Winning arguments by crying: A woman cries whenever she knows she can’t win. This kind of emotional blackmail drives men go crazy! It’s fine for women to cry if they are genuinely hurt, but using crying as a manipulative tool is damaging to any relationship.

5. Trying to change us: Women have a tendency to take up charity projects and forcibly attempt to change the behavior of their men. They try their best to make him a better man by pushing him into doing something he doesn’t like or doesn’t want to do. They fail to understand that for two people to be in a relationship it is not necessary for them to be alike. Unlike men, they fail to understand the cliché “Opposites attract”.

6. Sex is key: This is one thing women use as a weapon in their romantic relationships. Men express their love through physical intimacy. A problem faced by almost all men is that whenever there is a discord, women withhold sex which makes the men feel unwanted.

7. Annoying pet names: ‘Jiggily poo, sweety pie, sweet cheeks, babu’. These pet names may not be appreciated as you think especially when you call him with these pet names in public.

8. Talking during a film: Instead of watching the movie quietly and understanding the plot, they will ask a million questions. “Do you think he is going to get eaten?” she will ask. “Do you think it will be alright in the end?”; “Oh God! Something horrible is going to happen now. What will they do now?” The only suitable answer for all these annoying questions is that you are not psychic and if she watches the movie quietly she will get all the answers to her questions.

9. The Cleanliness Talk: "A place for everything and everything in its place," she says. Well, that's a nice idea, but who has the time? It's far more fun to throw our clothes here and there as if a bomb went off in the closet.

10. Does my behind look too fat in these red shoes?: She will hover over something for eternity: This dress or that? Red shoes or blue? Men don’t have the patience to wait until she matches every piece of that outfit and just when it seems to be coming together they change their mind and start all over again.

LOL there are many others as well :p tons you can say . :D

knowledge about Directory business

These are most important factors to opt for paid directory submission, as far as free directory submission is concerned, let me tell you,you can do 1000 ,10000 it won't increase your rank since after Penguin and Panda Update, it's content, quality of content which matters more than no of links.
It may not increase your PageRank, but it will increase your standings in the SERPs. I have sites with no PageRank that are doing okay in the SERPs, within their niche, and this is entirely from listings in directories, mostly on pages that do not themselves have PageRank.

Since Google itself is deprecating its PageRank, I think it's fair to say that we need to look at other things. The average user doesn't have a clue as to what PageRank a site he visits may have; the important thing is where it shows up in the SERPs on targeted keywords.

Search on "web directory reviews" and you will see that I show up ahead of other sites that use the same name, and serve the same purpose, although they have PageRank and I do not.

I won't go so far as to say that PageRank is irrelevant. Of course, I'd like to have PageRank and, of course, I would be more inclined to submit to a page with PageRank than one without, but the most important thing is where you show up in the SERPs. Directory pages, even those without PageRank, can help. The relevancy of the category counts, as do the other listings that your site is listed among.

Real Talk About Why So Many Blogs Fail

There are so many new blogs being born every day simply because blogging is one of the easiest and most popular formats for creating content that we can use to spread our message online.

Blogging is also a popular strategy when it comes to making money online. Many of the top bloggers make a substantial income from their blogs in order to support themselves and their families.

Others start blogs because their friends are blogging and they want to be like their friends. Some find enjoyment in blogging and set-up blogs because they enjoy writing and blogging about things that they love.

why blogs failIn a recent post on a blog, I have read that 97% of blogs fail, (sorry for my bad memory I totally forgot where I read it so I am not able to link to this article on the blog), and I have strong reasons to believe this statement.

This is because while browsing a few blogs that I used to visit are now gone or, the owner decided to stop posting for one reason or another.

So this means only 3% of blogs that were created will have real success. So you can just imagine how many free blogs exist on the internet today.

This lead me to ask the question, “Why are so many blogs coming to an end?”

1. Lack Of Passion & Knowledge

A lot of people start blogs based on a topics that they have little or no knowledge about. They simply start a blog because the topic is one that has a high level of popularity.

Have you spotted the reasons why they fail at blogging?

Yes you do! Blogs shouldn’t be created on a topic because of it’s popularity. And no I am not saying that you should not start a blog on a topic that is popular because you can become successful with a blog that has a high popularity niche.

What I am trying to say is that it is always best to start a blog on a topic that you are familiar with its topic and also make sure that is something that you love.

True blogging should be about the love for a certain topic which you want to share your knowledge with others.

2. No Time To Blog Right Now

One of the little known reasons why most bloggers fail is because they don’t dedicate time to their blog.

In order for one to become a successful blogger then this person has to devote some time to his/her blog. If not then your blog will end up in the list 97% that fails.

Create a timetable or schedule and try your best as possible to stick with it.

A person who doesn’t find time for their blog will often come up with the conclusion that blogging is hard. Or blogging is for a person who has tons of free time on their hand.

If you take just a few minutes each day to do article writing, networking and blog commenting; you will be surprised how much this can impact on your blogging success.

3. I Want To Make Money Now

One of the major reasons why blogs are being created today is because you can make money blogging.

In fact, blogging is said to be one of the easiest money making process online.

But should this be our aim as true bloggers? Should we make it our first priority to make money from our blogs?

If this is the case then you might end up failing with your blog.

I agree that we all need to make money to survive in this world today because the economic crisis has made a bad impact on everyone.

So creating a blog can help to pay the bills and take care of other stuff. But your aim to make money all the time from your blog can cause you to fail.

4. Many Blogs Lack Creativity

If you own a blog, what you may notice is that people can be attracted to your blog post design or your articles.

This is because your blog has a unique creative design which attracted them to your blog in the first place.

It may be your creative writing which pulled them in to subscribe to your blog. If a blog lacks creativity in both design and content, will this not cause the blog to lose out on it’s potential success?

Yes it would.

You can make your blog creatively unique by purchasing a WordPress theme for your blog, one that matches your blogs topic.

As I said earlier in this article, your blog can be a part of the 3% that are successful.

1. Blog on a Regular Basis

Blogging involves writing articles for your blog so so that you can share what you have written for others to read.

If each time you publish a blog post and you realize that people come to your blog, they read and leave comments, this means that your blog is a source of vital information to them.

Writing articles for your blog on a regular basis is the ideal thing to do to achieve blogging success. Blog on a regular basis so that when people do a blog search, you will always have a stream of traffic coming to your site.

2. Network As Much As Possible

Networking plays a big roll in blogging success. You have to make sure that you communicate with people who are bloggers in your niche.  This will help them to see that you want to become blogging buddies.

Share their contents and they in turn will do the same for your content.

When you network with other bloggers you can get great blogging ideas for your next blog post.

You may have a minor error on your blog that you need help with, if you make friends through networking then you may be able to get some assistance through this as well.

Networking and leveraging social media will help you build a impressive brand for you and your blog.

3. Traffic Is Needed For Success

Tons of traffic is what will help a blog to become successful.

If you want to become a successful blogger then you have to make it your aim to get traffic to your blog. Remember without the traffic then you will never be a successful blogger who makes money blogging.

What you need to do is participate in guest posting, forum submission, blog commenting, social networking and also write excellent articles for your blogs on a regular basis.

The more traffic that you have then the more success you will have.

Should more blogs be created since so many of them are failing?

Well yes!

Blogs will and should be created because they can become successful. I didn’t know that my blog would be this successful. Ileane didn’t know that her blog would have this much success.

What we do know is that if we put in the added work and dedicate much of our time to our blogs then they will become successful!

So don’t be afraid to become a blogger if you aren’t a blogger as yet. Start your blog today!

Anybody can make their blog successful.

It just takes a little time and patience, dedication and determination. With that then you can make your blog successful.

If you don’t mind sharing with us, what tips and tricks would you recommend for making more successful blogs?

8 Little Known Facts About Eating At Your Desk

This story originally appeared on Quartz.

There’s no avoiding it. Work an eight-hour day (or longer) and you’ll have to stop to eat at some point. Be it a questionable sandwich or a lavish lunch, workers need grub. But what should you eat to achieve maximum results? And is skipping lunch to polish off that email really such a bad thing?

Here’s the Quartz ultimate guide to eating at work:

Eating in the office canteen is good for you. In Finland, at least.

The Finnish have done a lot of research into workplace eating habits. One study by the Finnish National Institute for Health and Welfare found that workers who ate in office cafeterias, compared to those who brought in packed lunches, were eating more fruit and vegetables. This has a lot to with the fact that in Finland, food provided in canteens must meet national nutritional guidelines.

In the US, a study by the Society of Public Health Education found that the number one source of food workers were bringing into the office was fast-food joints. The same study also found that if healthy food was provided on site, workers were more likely to make healthier choices.

To be sure, the wisdom of eating in a canteen does depend on the quality of what’s on the menu. Staff interviewed at Barnsley Borough Council in London described the food in their cafeteria as “stodgy” and more suited to manual laborers.

Skipping lunch is bad for you.

As explained in his book about workplace eating habits, Christopher Wanjek found that workers who skip lunch are more stressed, less productive and only end up snacking in the afternoon anyway.

The endless cycle of bad nutrition and low national productivity.

Poor eating choices impact productivity. In fact, it causes this shame spiral:

eating at work

What’s the deal with superfoods?

In the nineties, it was all about organic food. Then along came the concept of “superfoods,” a term used to describe foods that are supposedly really, really good for you. But it turned out to be more of a re-branding exercise for otherwise fairly mundane supermarket produce, like berries. And if you ask a scientist, the term superfood actually means something completely different. It’s used in academia to refer to calorie-dense food, like chocolate.

There is sufficient evidence, however, to support consuming things like honey, salmon, soy, lean red meat, cinnamon and green tea because of the positive effects they have on health and, ergo, productivity (see chart above).

Broccoli is also definitely good for you.

But there’s simply no such thing as a miracle food. It’s best to load up on as many different types of fruit and vegetables, lean meats and low-fat dairy (if you eat those), and legumes (pulses, such lentils and beans) as possible.

Eating well: whose responsibility is it, anyway?

When surveyed by researchers from Nottingham University, staff at the UK’s National Health Service said they felt they had a responsibility to set an example for healthy eating at work. But the American Journal of Public Health found that for healthy eating habits at work to take any effect, workers’ families also had to get on board. What people eat at work is linked to their overall lifestyles and attitudes to nutrition. Since many people (especially manual workers) bring food from home prepared by a partner, educating the family is all the more important.

And Wanjek makes a case for improving the street food on offer—particularly in developing economies—so that people have inexpensive, nutritious options near their work. Using a case study from South Africa, Wanjek outlines how government intervention led to tighter regulations on vendors, in turning improving their safety standards. Vendors in the Guateng province, where this project took place, became reliable sources of affordable food for workers stopping by on their lunch breaks.

The desktop dining debate.

Roughly 70% of Brits and 67% of Americans eat lunch at their desks. But is this such a bad thing? Two Slate writers slung this one out. Inspired by her time working in France, Rachael Levy wants us to take a cue from the French when it comes to taking lunch breaks. She argues that taking the time to have lunch away from the office makes you a more productive, happier worker.

Rachael Larimore told her to back off and let her eat her sandwich, at her desk, in peace. Larimore said she’d rather forfeit her lunch hour and snaffle her sandwich while plowing through her work so that she can finish a little earlier to spend more time with her family.

Of the two Rachaels, Levy’s probably right. Research from the University of California-Davis has found that powering through a lunch break, especially on a thought-intensive task, hinders performance. Letting your brain “rest” in your lunch break can help recharge your creative capabilities.

Go easy on the booze at the office party.

The booze might be flowing at the office party, but so are the lewd comments. Researchers at Cornell University conducted a study that found when people drink in or around the workplace, harassment is more likely to take place. In offices which turn a blind eye to drinking during working hours, women are twice as likely to experience “gender harassment,” or aggressive and offensive remarks made by fellow colleagues.

Employers should help staff lose weight.

Research has found that overweight workers run up big costs to employers. After studying work-related injuries at one of their facilities in Texas, researchers at Shell Oil found overweight employees to have a 50% greater risk of injury than their average-weight colleagues. Sick leave and health-care costs also stacked up higher among these employees. Anti-smoking campaigns in the workplace have been a success; researchers are now encouraging employers to implement weight-loss programs. Just imagine the poster campaigns.

"Never make predictions, especially about the future."

I have always had an affinity for the quotes of the legendary Casey Stengel.

Everyone thinks of Yogi Berra as the quintessential baseball quote. He made you think, laugh and occasionally want to launch your head into a brick wall. But Stengel, manager of 3,766 games in the Big Leagues never wasted any time getting to the point:

"There's three things you can do in a baseball game: You can win or you can lose or it can rain."

Hard to argue with that kind of enlightenment.

The same can be said about making predictions for an upcoming season. You can win (come up with the accurate picks). You can lose (your picks could look like a 2013 NCAA bracket). Or it can rain (I'll leave this one open to interpretation... I view it as writing your picks long-hand, cutting it up into confetti sleeves, and then proceeding to 'make it rain' after completion).

So without further ado, I give you my foolish and feeble attempt at trying to predict baseball.

American League EAST:
Division Winner: Tampa Bay Rays
Why They'll Get It Done: This is the most competitive division in baseball. With all five teams constantly trading Ali/Frazier sized blows to the face of each other, one must find a constant among the chaos. The Rays pitching staff is the class of the division led by reigning AL Cy Young winner David Price. Factor in a second full season from stud lefty Matt Moore, RHP Jeremy Helickson and a healthy, MVP-type season from third baseman Evan Longoria, the Rays come away on top.
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: Longoria continues to be plagued by injuries and the offense fails to bail their pitching staff out. Also, Roberto Hernandez becomes "Bad Fausto Carmona" again and Fernando Rodney upon completion of a save, fires an arrow into the sky that comes back to earth and hits him in the ass on the way back.
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oTampa Bay Rays
oBoston Red Sox
oToronto Blue Jays
oNew York Yankees
oBaltimore Orioles

American League CENTRAL:
Division Winner: Detroit Tigers
Why They'll Get It Done: Too much talent on this team both in the lineup and rotation and not enough in the rest of the division. Cabrera, the reigning MVP and Triple-Crown winner along with first baseman Prince Fielder will continue to mash, and Justin Verlander, fresh off brand-new contract will have another Cy Young type season.
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: The merry-go-round of bullpen arms in the closer role fail to find consistency, leaving Jim Leyland with a bullpen of confusion and no sign of confidence in the 9th inning. Also Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder both simultaneously get hurt or become victim of the Swahili Flu.
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oDetroit Tigers
oKansas City Royals
oChicago White Sox
oCleveland Indians
oMinnesota Twins

American League WEST:
Division Winner: Los Angeles Angels
Why They'll Get It Done: If you haven't heard of this here Mike Trout kid, he's really quite special. The five-tool "should've been MVP" outfielder from 2012 has another solid season, although it will be tough to replicate the type of success from a year ago. Factor in a full season of Albert Pujols being the player they thought he'd be and the most complete lineup in the American League give the Halos a slight edge over the Rangers.
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: I still have lots of concerns regarding their starting pitching. After Jered Weaver, it's a whole lot of "Ehhhh." CJ Wilson could continue his struggles, Jason Vargas may look like the pitcher that got shelled outside of Safeco Field in Seattle, and they seem to love Joe Blanton a whole lot more than everyone else (maybe not Joe Blanton's family but you catch my drift).
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oLos Angeles Angels
oTexas Rangers
oSeattle Mariners
oOakland Athletics
oHouston Astros

American League Wild Card Teams:
•Boston Red Sox
•Texas Rangers

National League EAST:
Division Winner: Washington Nationals
Why They'll Get It Done: If you don't have Spring Training statistical concerns, there are almost no flaws in the makeup of this team. I'll knit-pick starting rotation depth in case anyone in their starting five get hurt, but this is as a complete lineup as there is in the National League. Ross Detwiler is their number 4 starter and his fastball had more swings and misses than his rotation-mate, Stephen Strasburg. They also have three closers hanging out in the bullpen with ridiculous stuff in Rafael Soriano, Drew Storen and Tyler Clippard. First to 100-wins this year will be the "Curly Ws."
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: Strasburg decides to shut himself down in fear of the future. Seriously, there's no way this team doesn't make the playoffs unless half the team get their legs or arms cut off in a freak accident falling off the "Shake Shack" deck.
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oWashington Nationals
oAtlanta Braves
oPhiladelphia Phillies
oNew York Mets
oMiami Marlins

National League CENTRAL:
Division Winner: Cincinnati Reds
Why They'll Get It Done: They've shown a healthy, durable starting rotation in 2012, and first baseman Joey Votto is poised for a monster season at first base. Outfielder Jay Bruce has put up better home run and RBI numbers than the previous season in all five his big league seasons. And did I mention the "Jay A Kid" is just 25-years-old? Makes me realize how little I've accomplished in my young life.
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: The superb health of their starting rotation from a season ago breaks down in 2013. Also if Aroldis Chapman struggles to throw strikes back in the closer's role and doesn't develop more quality pitches other than his fastball. His secondary pitch, his slider was only thrown about 12 percent of the time. At some point, as a top-notch closer, you need more than one great out pitch to keep hitters guessing.
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oCincinnati Reds
oSt. Louis Cardinals
oPittsburgh Pirates
oMilwaukee Brewers
oChicago Cubs

National League WEST:
Division Winner: Los Angeles Dodgers
Why They'll Get It Done: Led by arguably the top 1-2 pitching combination in baseball with Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke, the Dodgers talent plays to their capabilities and is too much to handle for pitching-heavy San Francisco and chippy Arizona.
How They Could Screw Up My Prediction: They get off to a rotten, slow start, and play the role of the 2012 Angels; struggling to climb out of the hole they created for themselves.
How The Standings Will Play Out:
oLos Angeles Dodgers
oSan Francisco Diamondbacks
oSan Diego Padres
oArizona Diamondbacks
oColorado Rockies

National League Wild Card Teams:

Kwame Harris, Former 49ers, Raiders Player, Talks About Being Gay In The NFL (VIDEO)

Kwame Harris Offensive lineman Kwame Harris #77 of the San Francisco 49ers during a preseason game against the Oakland Raiders on August 18, 2007 at Monster Park in San Francisco, California.

During his six seasons in the NFL, Kwame Harris remained in the closet because he did not believe being gay was "compatible" with his career. A first-round selection out of Stanford in the 2003 NFL Draft, the 6' 7" offensive lineman spent five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Oakland Raiders before retiring in 2008.

"I love football. Football provided me with some experiences and some opportunities that I wouldn't trade for anything else," Harris told Coy Wire in an exclusive interview with CNN that aired on Friday. "But at the same time, the cost was great in asking me to not speak candidly or be able to be open about myself in this complete manner."

Harris kept his sexuality private during his career in the NFL but found himself in the spotlight after an alleged altercation with a former boyfriend generated headlines in January.

At the time, defense lawyer Alin Cintean told The Associated Press that Harris identifies himself as gay, but "is not very public about it." The 31-year-old broke his silence this week speaking with Wire, a former teammate at Stanford who also played in the NFL. In the interview, Harris spoke publicly for the first time about being gay and reflected on his decision to remain silent during his career.

"No, not while I was playing. I didn't see those two things as being compatible," Harris said when asked if he ever considered coming out while playing n the NFL. "But now when I look back in hindsight, if I could have done it differently, I would like to think that I would find the strength or find the fortitude or the grace to kind of make the hard decision."

According to a recent report by Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com, there is a gay player currently in the NFL who is strongly considering coming out publicly. In his conversation with Wire, Harris expressed hope that his recent candor would help young gay athletes realize that they are not alone.

"I want people -- whether they're gay athletes or athletes who are still in the closet or youth who aren't quite sure of what their sexuality is -- to realize that not only is that not unique but those feelings are common feelings," Harris told Wire. "Don't feel incredibly alone in having these questions."
